The Research on Preventing Conductor Vibration Behavior and Spacer Position on 220 kV Compact Line

In this paper, the mathematical model for calculating spacer position, conductor stress and dis placement therefrom on a compact line is derived based on the nonlinear buckling theory and dynamic vibration equation of the conductor. It has been practically applied to determine the position and diamter of FRP spacer rod on the An lang compact line and to analyze the relation of spacer position with respect to its preventing conductors vibration behavior or the diameter of FRP rod on this compact line.
