Analysis of Microsatellite DNA Polymorphisms and Genetic Monitoring of Ten Inbred Mouse Strains

Objective To analyse microsatellite DNA polymorphisms and genetic monitoring of ten inbred mouse strains. Metheds 16 microsatellites DNA loci on different chromosomes in ten inbred mouse strains were investigated by PCR analysis. Results Fourteen microsatellites DNA could be amplified efficiently, and displayed polymorphism among the various strains,and no polymorphism in the same mouse strains. Conclusion Analysis of microsatellites DNA polymorphisms by the fourteen microsatellites DNA is a fast and economical way for genetic monitoring among ten inbred mouse strains.
