Operating Point Coordinated Control of Electromagnetic Coupling Hybrid Electric Bus

Operating point coordinated control strategy was investigated for an electromagnetic coupling hybrid electric bus.A basic operating point coordinated control algorithm for the system components,which can be expressed as the open-loop control of engine target throttle,the generator target speed control,actual torque feedback of the engine and the motor torque compensation control,was implemented to satisfy the driver's power demand and ensure smooth power transfer.In addition,an improved operating point coordinated control algorithm was suggested by the engine transient-state optimization in order to suppress engine rich fuel injection and improve fuel economy.Simulation results indicate that both the basic and improved operating point coordinated control algorithms are feasible and can achieve prospective target.
