Reaction of some enzyme activities in crops of different tolerance to the stress of Cd

In order to study the tolerance mechanism of crops to toxic harm caused by heavy metals.We adopted analyses of pot incubation as well as physiology and biochemistry to study the reaction of crop enzyme system to the stress of Cd. The results show that under Cd stress, the activity of SOD and PPO enhanced, CAT obviously increased, but the PPO have no logical law.It shows that the maintenance and enhancing of the activity of SOD, CAT and PPO is one of the foundation of tolerance to Cd stress.
