The control parameter of SBR process and its reaction time using DO.

The experimental research is introduced in which DO was used as the control parameter of SBR process and reaction time in this paper .It was revealed that the balanced DO concentration appeared soon after the reaction stage starting,and DO level rose quickly in large range when COD was degraded to its nondegradation concentration under that condition,no matter that change the aeration rate or the MLSS concentration in large range,or change the initial COD concentration gradually or suddenly in the various experimental conditions. Consequently it is indicated that DO can be used not only as the indicative control parameter of SBR reaction time,but also as the process control parameter of SBR reliably when a simple and rapid sensor of organic matter concentration does not come out now .
