Research on Multiagent-based Distribute Intelligent Manufacturing System

A multiagent-based intelligent manufacturing system frame is introduced in this paper. The manufacturing environment without center controller is built by this frame. Since more and more manufacturing subsystems becoming intelligent ones each of them can be linked to an intelligent manufacturing network through an agent. The agent together with the subsystem constructs an autonomous cell. These autonomous cells exchange information with each other by a message passing mechanism. They cooperate and coordinate by network message and share the network in formation and tasks.Intelligent manufacturing network links three kinds of node, named Man and Organization, Man-Machine and Automation System respectively. This makes information, knowledge, manufacturing device and people's intelligence become sharing resources of the intelligent manufacturing network. lntelligent manufacturing system has similar construct at different levels with this frame.
