Influence of Wall Roughness on Flame Transmission of Gas Explosion

On the basis of the experimental research,the significant influence of the wall roughness on the flame transmission law of the gas explosion was analyzed.The research result shows that the wall roughness has great effects on flame transmission in gas explosion.Compared with the smooth tube,the flame speed in the rough tube increases very quickly.The influence of the wall roughness on the closed system is same as on the uncorked system in gas explosion.Based on the experimental results the influence of wall roughness on high speed flame area was analyzed.Therefore,in the coal mining,the wall roughness should be decreased as much as possible.The research results can play an important role in gas explosion to lighten the transmission of the explosion power in the mine field.
