Ultra-early Microsurgical Treatment of Cerebral Hemorrhage in Region of Basal Ganglia by Keyhole Approach

Objective To improve further clinical effect of microsurgical treatment on cerebral hemorrhage in the region of basal ganglia.Methods The clinical data of66patients with cerebral hemorrhage in the region of basal ganglia treated by ultra-early microsurgery through keyhole approach were analyzed retrospectively.Results Of the66patients with cerebral hemorrhage in the region of basal ganglia,13died,53survived.Of the53survivals,8were in gradeⅠ,14in gradeⅡ,20in gradeⅢ,9in gradeⅣand2in gradeⅤaccording ADL grade criterion3months after the operation.Conclusion The clinical effect of the operation on the cerebral hemorrhage in the region of basal ganglia is satisfactory.The advantages of the operation are as follows:①relatively simple anatomic structure of keyhole approach;②minimal trauma of the operation and③thorough hemostasia during the operation.
