Study on the Effect of Creation Climate to Multiple-Level Knowledge Creation——A Cross-Level Model

With the coming knowledge economy era, knowledge has become the focus of competition among organizations; the enterprises' capability for innovation has become one of the important dynamic capabilities of the enterprises.In the light of supply-chain-style cluster,knowledge creation is a multi-level dynamic process among individuals,teams and companies; it involves many factors and has complex structure. Individual knowledge creation behavior of organizations and their members can be influenced by not only their own characteristics,but also the supply-chain-style cluster. How to fully understand these major influencing factors is the guarantee for us to improve organizations' capability for managing knowledge creation activities and pursuing better performance. So,only the cross-level method can help us scientifically reveal the relation between different factors and multi-level knowledge creation. Based on the cross-level analysis methods,all factors on cluster level,organization level,team level and individual level are integrated,the impacts of supply-chain-style industrial cluster network and creation climate on multiple-level knowledge creation are investigated,and some related repositions are put forward. Results show that multi-level factors have direct and indirect impact on knowledge creation,and the knowledge creation is a multi-dimensional interaction and level upgrade process.
