A Study on the Ideological Trend of the Improvement and Revitalization of Chinese Tea Industry in the 19th Century

During the middle 1870 s to the later 1890 s,under the increasing international competition and the Chinese tea industry development flawed recession impact,a group of Westernization,the reformers and some intellectuals with enlightened ideals set off a 30-year revitalization and improvement of Chinese tea industry awakening. The reform can be based on the idea of improving the tea industry,the degree of awareness,etc. are roughly divided into three stages.The initial theory was about tea production and trade linked to improve,the theory of the improvement of the relationship between the government and the merchant in the tea trade in the mid-term,the theory of the production-side reform of the tea industry in the late period.The ideological trend had the characteristics of gradual development and a certain historical progress significance and obvious limitations.
