Effects of Photovoltaic Greenhouse on Growth,Photosynthesis and Quality of Pakchoi

Taking pakchoi[Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis(L.)Makino var. communis Tsen et Lee]cultivar‘Suzhouqing'as experiment material,this paper studied the effects of different photovoltaic panel layout density on growth,photosynthesis,yield and quality of pakchoi by plug substrate culture method.The result showed that photovoltaic greenhouse with 50% panel cover could significantly decrease the plant height,leaf number and leaf areas of pakchoi by 27.34%,12.50% and 22.64%,respectively.While with 33% photovoltaic panel cover,there were relatively smaller influence on the growth of pakchoi.Besides the significant decrease of soluble sugar and soluble protein contents,there were no significant effects on organic acid,nitrate,VC content by treatments of 33% or 50% photovoltaic panel cover.There were neither significant influences on plant gas exchange and contents of chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b.The weight per plant and the yield per plug of pakchoi were decreased by photovoltaic greenhouse with 50% panel cover,but no remarkable differences between treatment with 33% photovoltaic panel cover and the CK.These results suggest that greenhouse with 33% photovoltaic panel cover could be used to produce pakchoi.
