THE STUDIES ON ARTIFICIAL FOREST DENSITY OF HALOXYLON AMMODENDRON

The contrasting experiment on the planting denstity of Haloxylon Ammodendron was carried out. The studing results to 4 dealings which including 2 m×4 m,2.5 m×3.0 m,1.5 m×1.5 m and natural density showed that the suitable planting density should be 2.5 m×3.0 m or 133.3 plants per hectare. In such case, the soil had high water bearing stratum which could run longer time under smaller evaporation and the plants would go into the closing state in time; Moreover, even if with no irrigation and only depended on precipitation, the sand binding forest couldnt degrade or die except for a common growth level.
