COMBUSTION SYNTHESIS AND PROPERTIES STUDY OF SrAl_2O_4:Eu~(2+),Dy~(3+) PHOSPHOR MATERIAL

SrAl O : Eu2+, Dy3+ long persistence phosphor has been synthesized by combustion method at 2 4 low temperature. The phase structure of the powder and the effects of process factors on luminescence characteristic are studied by XRD and fluorescence spectrophotometry et al. The results showed that the main crystal phase of the phosphor is monoclinic SrAl O , a=0.8442nm, b=0.8827nm, c=0.5162nm, β = 97°. 2 4 The excitation spectrum consists of several peaks including 398, 349, 324nm and the emission spectrum peak is at 516nm.
