PREPARATION OF MULTICOLOR LONG AFTERGLOW CERAMIC

Liu Quansheng, Wang Xiaochun, Lu Liping, Bai Zhaohui, Mi Xiaoyun, Hu Jingjie, Tian Xueyan, Zhang Xiyan (School of Materials and Chemical Engineering, Chuangchun University of Science and Technology, Chuangchun 130022)  
The green(SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+), blue(CaAl2O4:Eu2+,Nd3+) and red (CaTiO3:Pr3+) long afterglow phosphors were synthesized respectively with high temperature solid state reaction method. Spectrum analysis indicated that excitation spectrum wavelength of samples are located between ultraviolet and visible light. Emission spectrum of SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+,CaAl2O4:Eu2+,Nd3+ and CaTiO3:Pr3+ is respectively at 520nm, 440.6nm and 612nm. Multicolor long afterglow ceramic patterns were prepared on ceramics substrates with luminescence glazes, which were the mixtures of zinc-boron-silicon system glazes and luminescence powders.
