Chemical Constituents of Notopterygium incisum

AIM:To study the chemical constituents of Notopterygium incisum collected from Li county,Sichuan Province,and compare the chemical costituents of Notopterygium incisum between Li county,Sichuan province and other regions. METHODS: Isolating the chemical constituents of the rhizomes of Notopterygium incisum by all kinds of chromatography,and identifying their structures on the basis of spectral analysis. RESULTS: Twelve compounds were isolated from the rhizomes of Notopterygium incisum. Their structures were elucidated as notoptol(Ⅰ),notopterol(Ⅱ),nodakenin(Ⅲ),falcarindiol(Ⅳ),(10E)-1,10-heptadecadiene-4,6-diyne-3,8,9-triol(Ⅴ),10-hydroxyverbenon(Ⅵ),(+)-bornyl ferulate(Ⅶ),pregnenolone(Ⅷ),vanillic acid(Ⅸ),p-coumarin(Ⅹ),trans-ferulic acid(Ⅺ) and 9,12-octadecadienoic acid (Z,Z)-(2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl) methyl ester(Ⅻ). Among them,compounds Ⅰ～Ⅳ,Ⅶ and Ⅷ are its main constituents;compounds Ⅴ～Ⅶ,Ⅹ and Ⅻ were obtained from this plant for the first time. CONCLUSION: There are some componential differences of Notopterygium incisum between Li county,Sichuan province and other regions.
