Uses of Ceramic Membranes in Prevention of Repeating Sedimentation of Chinese-Style Vinegar

Repeating sedimentation in Chinese-style vinegar during storage was eliminated by applying a filtration process before storage using ceramic membranes.Our experiment demonstrated that this process had effectively eliminated suspension particles of micron-size in these vinegars and had little impacts on their flavor.This filtration process is proved to be stable,reliable and economical for use in Chinese-style vinegar production process.
