Developing Integrated Teaching Materials to Implement Individualized Learning
College English teaching in China has long been perplexed by the lack of an efficient way to conduct individualized instruction to promote students’ability to communicate because of huge student population and the lack of qualified teachers. With the development of network technology, it is possible for multimedia courseware to run online so that students can learn and improve their ability according to their own learning strategies with teacher’s assistance. This paper focuses on the design of such a web-based courseware entitled Experiencing English from different aspects. It emphasizes its distinguishing features to develop student’s ability for individualized learning.
