A Questionaire Study on the Influence of Experiencing English on the Professional Development of CollegeEnglish Teachers

By using questionnaires and interviews, an empirical study was carried out to investigate the influence of experiential learning model on the professional development of college English teachers. Results have shown that the textbook Experiencing English has greatly updated the teachers’ pedagogical beliefs, teaching methodology and classroom teaching mode. The textbook has also significantly promoted college English teachers’ professional development with self-study, self-reflection and self-renovation abilities at its most.
