Measuring system of optional fiber polarization characteristics based on FPGA technology

The auto-measuring system of optional fiber polarization characteristics is studied.This paper describes the characteristics and parameters of PM optical fiber and also analyzes the modulate characteristics of photo-electricity signal and the effective method of collecting weak signals.It gives an auto-measuring method for PM optical fiber based on FPGA technology and also gives comprehensive details of designing and implement.Based on the above works,a usable and reliable auto-measuring system is realized.The using of instrument validates the effectiveness of the scheme and designing.
