Establishment of indirect ELISA to detect bovine rotavirus antibody

An indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was established for detection of bovine rotavirus antibodies using bovine rotavirus purified by CsCI density gradient centrifugation as coating antigen.The control antigens prepared with bovine viral diarrhea virus,E.coli,Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus agalactia,respectively showed no cross-reaction with negative and positive sera against bovine rotavirus.This result demonstrated that the established method could be used for detection of bovine rotavirus antibodies.
