Correlative factors analysis of diabetic’s quality-of-life

ObjectiveTo investigate the situation of diabetic’s quality-of-life, social support, anxiety and depression, especially,and analyse their correlation. MethodsBy Diabetes-Specificl Quality-of-Life Scale(DSQL), Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS), Zung SAS(self rating anxiety scale) and Zung SDS(self-reporting depression scale), 504 diabetics cases were measured. ResultsThe impaired rate of healthy of diabetes was 95.64%, the affected rate of mental health was 76.19%, the affected rate of human relations was 30.36%, the rate of accompanying anxiety and depression was 11.31% and 29.96%. The quality-of-life was significantly correlated with the course of disease,etc ( r =0.18~0.55, P 0.01). The social support was significantly correlated with age,etc( r 0.11, P 0.01). Anxiety and depression was significantly correlated with complications,etc(| r |0.20, P 0.01). The values of quality-of-life, social supports, anxiety and depression have significant difference among different levels of course of disease and complications, respectively ( P 0.05). ConclusionDiabetes quality of life were descend severely and were intimately related to complications, accompanying anxiety and depression.It will play a key role in improving their quality of life to prevent and control complication, keep good mood.
