The genetic analysis of some agronomically important characters in flue cured tobacco

The results of experiments showed: The number of leaves were determined by additive gene effects. The lengthof leaves inc1uded the length of lower, middle and upper leaves all were determined by dominant x d0minant gene ef-fects. The width of leaves included the width of lower, middle and upper leaves all were determined by additive X ad-ditive gene effects. Stem height was determined by dominant, additive X additive and dominant X dominant gene ef-fect. Stem diameter was mainly determined, by dominant and additive X additive gene effects- Plant height was deter-mined by dominant gene effects.
