ReversedPhaseHPLCDeterminationofHydrochlorothizideandItsRelatedCompoundinTablet

Arapidandsensitivehigh-performanceliquidchromatographicmethodforthede-terminationofhydrochlorothizideanditsrelatedcompound(4-amino-6-chloro-1,3-ben-zenedisulfonamide)inhydrochlorothizidetablethasbeendeveloped.Thechromatographyconditionsare:column,SpherisorbC18(4ID×150mm,5μm);mobilephase,water-acetoni-trile(88∶12).Themethodisspecificandfreeofinterferencefromtabletvehicles.TheUVdetector(273nm)responsewaslinearoverarangeof5～35μg/ml,2～30μg/mlforhy-drochlorothizideanditsrelatedcompound,respectitively.Theaccuracyandprecisionofthemethodaresatisfactory.
