On the Cultural Consciousness of Chinese Garden in the View of Chinese "Eight Sceneries"

As the important category of Chinese traditional scenery notion, "eight sceneries" is often recorded in the chorography. Based on the origin and the changes of "eight sceneries" culture, the definitions of this phenomenon, as a kind of "cultural set", were summarized. From the connotation and inscription of"eight sceneries", it can be found out that the cultural characteristics are included in it like other Chinese classical garden. Through the"eight sceneries"connected with Chinese calligraphy, painting, poetry and inscription, the Chinese implicit way of season expression and other understanding and feelings of landscape can be seen. Nowadays, in the landscape and architecture constantly drastic changes, how to protect landscape features have been a hot topic. Maybe some enlightenment can be obtained from the evolvement process of "eight sceneries"culture.
