The Method to Make Rockery without Water Which Looks Far-reaching in Classical Chinese Gardens

It is a method to make rockery without water which looks far-reaching in classical Chinese gardens.And it is also an expressing type of the continental garden to the streams or waterfalls in mountains which is different to the dry mountain and water in the island garden in Japan.On the one hand,two skills of making dry stream with drainage gallery,such as putting scenes at top of the dry stream,and arranging scenes at each level of the dry stream,are introduced in this article.On the other hand,the ways to make raining waterfall from eaves with cliff hill,such as the multipole folds falling,and the multiple folds and streams of falling with main and secondary trends,are proposed.The methods to make rockery without water which looks far-reaching are discussed through the above-mentioned two aspects,which is still of application significance in modern designing.
