Analysis of fatty acid and unsaponifiable matters from mustard seed oil and linseed oil

Brassica juncea L. and Linum usitatissimum L. are oil crops cultivated in broad areas of North China. Fatty acids and unsaponifiable matters containing sterols, 4—methylsterols and triterpene alcohols from these two kinds of seed oil were separated, discriminated and determined by HPLC and gas chromatography.
