Studies on Separation and Purification of Isoflavones from Chuanshegan by Macroporous Adsorption Resin

OBJECTIVE To optimize the purification method of the total isoflavones in Chuanshegan with macroporous adsorptive resin.METHODS The static adsorption/desorption characteristics were used as evaluation to select the better resin.The selected resin was studied focusing on the dynamic adsorption/desorption characteristics to optimize the purification conditions.RESULTS Resin DM-401 is selected to purify the total isoflavones in Chuanshegan.The static adsorption capacity/desorption ratio and the dynamic adsorption capacity/ desorption ratio for the isoflavones were 29.64 mg·g~(-1)/91.54% and 27.30 mg·g~(-1)/88.74%,respectively.The purity of the product before and after the resin purification process were 24.95% and 58.7%,respectively.CONCLUSION Macroporous adsorption resin DM-401 was suitable to purify the total isoflavones in Chuanshegan.
