The Support Vector Machine Method and Its Elementary Applications to Synthetic Earthquake Prediction

The statistical study theory is a theory that getting off a machine learning rule specially for the small sample situation.The support vector machine study method developing from the theory can solve small sample,non-linearity,high dimension,partial minimum point actual problems well,and obtained the widespread application in function approached,pattern recognition,signal processing,time series analysis,forecast and so on. This article will introduce the support vector machine method into the field of non-linear characteristic,complex earthquake gestation system and earthquake forecasts.An example,taking the North China area(30°~42°E,108°~125°N),Excavates the more effective earthquakes information based on the seismicity parameter research from the limited earthquake sample,the exploration earthquake synthesizes the forecast the new way.
