BMC,BW,BMC/BW,AKP,U-Ca/Cr ratio,Ca and P in blood were determined before and 3 months and 6 months after the treatments. The results show that the effective rate in the observed group is higher than that in the control group (P0. 01),and the MC/BW can be raised through treatment with Zhipibugudan. It is suggested that this herbal medicine can activate the bone metabolism and improve the chemical activity of bone cells.
