Studies on the Chemical Constituents of Vaccinium scopulorum W. W. Smith

Seven compounds were isolated from the radix of Vaccinium scopulorum. On the basis of spectral analysis, physico-chemical constants and derivative preparations, they were identified asβ-amyrin, 3-epi-ursolic acid, methyl maslinate, 3β-acetoxy-△~7-cholest-7-ene, protocatechuic acid, ethyl n-hexacosanoate and ethyl n-tetracosanoato respectively.
