Wang Lan ping,Peng Li zhi,Wang Jing ru,et al//Chinese Journal of Nursing, 2000,35(11):650.
Objective:To analyze environmental noise experienced by patients during operation and its effects on physiological indexes.Methods:120 patients were divided into a noise reduced group and a control group in random. The physiological indexes were measured in different noise density environments. Results:Patient blood pressure and heart rate were less affected in the noise reduced group than that in the control grope(without using the reducing noises measure). There was a significant statistical differences( P 0.01 ).between the two groups. Conclusion:Man made noises and the use of equipment in the operating room may be the primary sourcs of the noise.Updating the design of the facility, ameliorating the medical treatment process, and enhancing the recognition to operating room's noise of the medical personnel may be effective ways to cut down nioses in the operating room.
