The effects of mobile phone learning in clinical teaching of nursing interns

Objective To explore the effects of mobile phone learning in clinical of nursing interns. Methods The mobile phone learning was used among 75 nursing interns in a hospital of Shanghai from March to June,2016. The traditional teaching method was used among 80 nursing interns from March to June,2015. The examination scores,students' satisfaction with the teaching method and their assessment towards the mobile phone software were compared between the two groups. Results There were significant differences between the two groups regarding the examination scores and satisfaction with the teaching method(P0.01). 94.5% nursing interns supported to use the mobile phone software for clinical teaching. Conclusion The mobile phone learning in clinical training of nursing interns can improve the learning effects,increase their satisfaction level,promote the communication between instructors and students,and enhance the teaching quality and efficiency.
