A Mathematical Model and Analysis of Plunge Milling Force on Aluminum Alloy

The application of Plunge Milling technique is becoming extensive due to its unique characteristics and theoretical maturing in recent years.However,in order to ensure a reliable theoretical base for machining,much of research on plunge milling still remains to be done.This paper,based on a machining experiment on Aluminum alloy where Plunge Milling technique is employed,seeks the rules how plunge milling force changes accordingly with the changes of cutting parameters in the Plunge Milling process.This experiment uses Labview software for random data collection,time frequency analysis and data pre-processing and it uses SPSS software for regress analysis and results verification.
