Research on Static and Dynamic Characteristics of the Dual Beams High-speed Gantry Milling Machine

In this paper,based on virtual prototyping technology dual beams high-speed machining gantry milling machine stiffness and deformation problems are studied. Dual beams system design methods have been proposed to solve the large span gantry milling machine low stiffness and poor flexibility issue; The static and dynamic characteristics of high-speed gantry milling machine are analyzed by the finite element method. Forecast its performance in the research and development stage of the milling machine. Provided technical support for the the machine optimized design and structural improvements.
