Evaluation of the Application of Self-Health Management Education in the Prevention and Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective To explore and analyze the clinical effects of self-health management education in the prevention and treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Methods A total of 78 patients with knee osteoarthritis admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to August 2018 were enrolled. 78 patients were randomly divided into 39 self-health management education groups and traditional interventions. In the reference group, 39 patients were compared, and the WOMAC osteoarthritis index score, self-management ability score, arthritis cognitive score and quality of life score were compared between the two groups. Results The WOMAC osteoarthritis index score, self-management ability score, arthritis cognitive score and quality of life score of the study group were compared with the reference group clinical index data(P0.05). Conclusion Self-health management education can be used in the prevention and treatment of knee osteoarthritis, which can improve the symptoms of osteoarthritis, improve self-management ability and cognitive level, and improve patients' quality of life.
