Application of Biostimulation-Active Nitrogen and Phosphorus Mixture on Papermaking Wastewater Treatment

Adding biological active nitrogen and phosphorus mixture instead of ordinary solid compound fertilizer during the biochemical aerobic section of the papermaking wastewater treatment can increase COD removal efficiency of the system about 6%, and increase the active sludge concentration maintaining MLSS at a stable 4300 mg·L-1. At the same time, the value of export ammonia can be reduced less than 0.8 mg·L-1. Finally, combining with biological observations, it can be found that biological active nitrogen and phosphorus mixture can accelerate the growth of microbial breeding and improve the processing efficiency and stability of the wastewater treatment system.
