Breeding and Utilization of Water-saving and Drought-resistant Rice Restorer Line Hanhui 3

ZHANG An-ning,LI Ming-shou,WANG Fei-ming,LIU Guo-lan,YU Xin-qiao*(Shanghai Agrobiological Gene Center,Shanghai 201106,China)  
Hanhui 3,developed from the cross of ET28,an upland rice restorer line,and the three-way F1 hybrid of Hanhui 13∥6078/Minghui 86 by Shanghai Agrobiological Gene Center,is a water-saving and drought-resistant rice restorer line.It is characteristic of drought resistance,good plant type,strong restoring ability and favorable flowering habits with heavy pollen load.Its F1 hybrids Hanyou 3(Huhan 1A/Hanhui 3) and Hanyou113(Huhan 11A/Hanhui 3) were registered and released to commercial production by Shanghai Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2006 and 2012,respectively.
