Image Fusion Comparison of ALOS Panchromatic and Multi Spectral

Taking ALOS image of Deqing County as the foundation data,seven kinds of image fusion methods are discussed,such as product method,high pass filtering,wavelet transform,HIS transform,Brovey transform,PCA transform, and Gram-Schmidt transform. The ALOS panchromatic and multi spectral image is fused,and the qualitative and quantitative analysis on fusion results is obtained. The experimental results show that Gram-Schmidt transform keeps the multi spectral image spectrum information,and at the same time,it also significantly improves the spatial resolution of the image fusion,which is proved to be the most suitable fusion method of ALOS panchromatic and multi spectral image,providing reference for the application of ALOS image.
