A Three-component System of Pyrocatechol, Resorcinol and Hydrochinone Determined Simultaneously by Means of Factor Analysis-UV Spectrophotometry

Factor analysis-UV Spectrophotometry was used simultaneously to determine the contents of a three-component system consisting of pyrocatechol, resorcinol and hydrochinone. The method was simple and fast,with a recovery of 93. 52~107. 20% and an average percentage error of 2.17%.
