The influence of different expansive agents on drying shrinkage of mortars under different curing conditions

Xie Gang;Fujian Academy of Building Research Fujian Key Laboratory of Green Building Technologies;
Shrinkage is the most common factor causing cracks in concrete.The shrinkage of concrete is mainly caused by autogenous shrinkage,drying shrinkage,temperature drop shrinkage and so on.expansive agents can reduce shrinkage and cracking in massive concrete constructions,thus improving their durability and quality.Studied mortar restrained expansion rate of different types of expansive agents under different simulated construction conditions,which provides reference for the practical application engineering.
