Grinding Burn and Crack of Titanium Alloy

REN Jinxin, et al  
s:On the basis of analyzing and studying the grinding burn and grinding cracks during grinding titanium alloys with bakelite and vetried bonded SiC and Al 2O 3 wheel, this paper proposes the measures for restraining the grinding burn and cracks in grinding titanium alloys. The experimental studies demonstrated that reasonable abrasive and hardness grade of wheel, grinding parameter, high efficiency grinding fluid and CBN wheel will avoid effectively the grinding burn and grinding cracks on ground surface during grinding titanium alloys.
