Design of Tool’s Faults Remote Monitoring System Based on Matlab

In order to meet the demand of remote monitoring, a new remote faults monitoring system based on Matlab is introduced. RS485 bus realizes remote data collection and control, and Matlab Web Server realizes INTERNET communication. Matlab realizes data analysis, disposal and plotting based on wavelet Neural-Networks. Both hardware and software are discussed in this paper. This system discusses on the tool's faults analysis based on wavelet Neural-Networks toolbox and the RS485 bus communication and Matlab Web Server internet communication between PC and MCU based on Matlab in detail. The testing result shows that the scheme is reliable and practical.
