Study on the cutting performance of Zr-based bulk amorphous alloy under low cutting speed

In order to research the cutting performance of bulk amorphous alloy Zr_(41.2)Ti_(13.8)Cu_(12.5)Ni_(10.0)Be_(22.5),the processed alloy surface and chipped morphology are analyzed through a scanning electron microscope.The results show that the lower cutting speed and smaller cutting depth will lead to less surface roughness,more smooth the surface of the chip and the more stable the cutting process.It is shown that under the condition of low speed cutting,bulk amorphous alloy has better cutting performance.
