Polypeptide:N-acetylgalactosaminytransferases 2′s role during adhesion and migration of gastric cancer cell SGC7901 at cell level

Objective: To investigate Polypeptide:N-acetylgalactosaminytransferases 2(ppGalNAc-T2)′s role during adhesion and migration of gastric cancer cell SGC7901.Methods: To transfect ppGalNAc-T2 plus sense vector(pEGFP-C1-T2),vacuity vector(pEGFP-C1)and interference vector(pSilenCircle)to SGC7901.We detected express level of ppGalNAc-T2 by RT-PCR and detected the capability change of adhesion and migration by cell adhesion and Transwell essay. Results: Contrast to SGC7901 which interference vector,the one transfected ppGalNAc-T2 plus sense vector had low adhesion capability to matrigel,hyaluronic acid and fibronectin,but the same migration capability. Conclusion: It was possible that ppGalNAc-T2′s low expression and tumor adhesion and migration had their correlation.
