The Study of New Quasi-optical Resonance Cavityand its Application in Electronics

Xie Wenkai(Inst. of High Energy Electronics, UEST of China, Chengdu 610054)  
Theoretical and experimental studies on a new kind of special quasi-optical resonancecavity proposed and developed by prof. Liu shenggang et al. is presented in this paper. Its applicationin Electronics, such as a new type of quasi-optical POwer combiner, and input device with quasi-opticalcavity, are described. Results indicate that this kind of quasi-optical resonance system has many advantages, as they might help develop high power electronics in short millimeter and sub-millimeterwaves. They may also be used for other purposes.
