Zhang Shaochen; Zhao Jie; Lu Shunfa; Ji Rongming(Department of Orthoaedics,Changhai Hospital,Second Military Medical University,200433)
t is difficult to perform anastomoses between the proximal radial and ulnar arteries, the in-jured palmar arch and distal end of common digital arteries in repairing crush-division of mid-palmbecause of the difference in their diameters and numbers. Based on the anatomical studies on dis-tribution and diameter of dorsal parts of venae saphena magna, parva, dorsal venous arch and dor-salis pedis venous ,and distribution and number of venous valves, the dorsal venous arch with dor-salis pedis venous was transplanted anterogradely and anastomosed with radial and ulnar arteriesto replace superficial palmar arch and initial part of digital arteries. The operation has been per-formed successfully in two cases.
