Clinical anatomy of the arterial anastomoses in Kite

he origin and anastomoses of the arteries in Kite were observed in 64 adult hand specimens(including 30 vascular cast specimens).The results showed that the arteries distribute extensive-ly and anastomose freely. The transverse and longitudinal anastomoses of the arteries are 14.1%and 70.3%respectively,and each pattern can be subdivided into superficial and deep anasto-moses,The neighboring connections of the arteries in palm and dorsal region in Kite and the per-forating branches were also observed.Clinical significance was discussed.
