Effect of ICA on the Telomerase Activity of HL-60 Cells

Objective: To observe the effect of ICA on the telomerase activity of HL-60 cells.Methods: The effect of ICA on the telomerase activity and proliferation and differentiation of HL-60 cells was compared with ATRA and valuated in vivo and in vitro. Results: ICA could inhibit the telomerase activity and induce the differentiation and restrain the proliferation of HL-60 cells. The effect was promoted by ATRA.Conclusion: The results suggested that the telomerase activity of HL-60 cells could be distinctly inhibited by ICA.
