Development of Hydrophobic Pervious Concrete

This paper introduced the hydrophobic agent into pervious concrete to develop a hydrophobic type pervious concrete. Three factors which is the goal porosity,water cement ratio and type of hydrophobic agent and different levels influenced on the performance of hydrophobic pervious concrete by using orthogonal experiment,taking 28-day compressive strength and permeability coefficient as the test index,and using range analysis and comprehensive balance method,the influence degree of the relationship between primary and secondary factors were obtained. It is concluded that the optimum scheme is goal porosity 20%,water cement ratio 0. 28,hydrophobic agent; Through the comparative test,it was determined that the strength of the concrete doped with4% hydrophobic agent was 28. 9% higher than that of the non-incorporation.
