Results The total scores of QOL was (60.62 ± 13.86) points, physical function dimension(26.39 ± 7.51) points, the psychological dimension(20.67 ± 5.10) points, the dimension of social relations (7.17 ± 2.66) points, the treatment of dimensions (6.39 ± 1.89) points. The results of t test and one-way ANOVA showed that the quality of life in patients changed with factors of age and complications. Simple correlation analysis showed that the quality of life of inpatients was significantly related with the social support, anxiety and depression (r=-0.059~0.535, all P0.05). Multiple stepwise regression analysis revealed that the factors which affected the QOL of inpatients included the course of disease, complications, anxiety (SAS score), dumps (SDS score) and subjective supporting degree. Conclusion Type 2 diabetes patients should pay attention to the complication controlling, exercise strengthening and weight controlling, especially to the old who have long course of the disease. We should establish and improve a system of patient's social support.
